Gyasi

Born and raised in a rural area of West Virginia, Gyasi developed very early a close relationship with the guitar and built a project at the border between solo and band, conceived as a complete universe where the music dialogues with visual aesthetics and the writing of the characters. His repertoire sits in a rock nourished by glam, classic hard rock and theatricality, with songs carried by strong riffs, expressive singing and a marked taste for forms inherited from the 1970s, reinterpreted in a contemporary frame. After having first written and recorded his early tracks himself, Gyasi notably released the album Androgyne (2022), then Here Comes the Good Part (2024) on Alive Records, confirming a trajectory centered on direct, melodic and embodied rock. On stage, Gyasi circulates this identity between performance, narration and guitar playing, in a format that can evoke as much a frontman as a tight collective around his compositions. In parallel with his own repertoire, Gyasi also appears as lead guitarist on The Revenge of Alice Cooper, a reunion album announced by Alice Cooper, which sheds light on his place in a rock scene that links glam heritage, hard energy and sense of spectacle.
