Milo Korbenski

Under the name Milo Korbenski, this solo musician based in the United Kingdom is developing a lo‑fi indie rock project with slackery edges, defined by direct songwriting, catchy melodies, and a deliberately stripped‑down production. Publicly presenting himself behind a white mask with no features, Milo Korbenski cultivates a form of anonymity that contrasts with songs that are emotionally very exposed, between rough guitars, dark undertones and tightly written lyrics. Before any label release, Milo Korbenski recorded, designed and released several records on his own, in a craft‑oriented DIY approach that remains at the heart of his aesthetics. His career takes a new turn with When You Gonna Tell ’Em the Truth, Aaron? in 2024, released via the Brighton‑based Phantom Limb label, followed by Sex Angel, also released in 2024, while the Vol. 1 compilation also circulated on cassette. On stage, Milo Korbenski develops his songs with a variable lineup of musicians, giving his concerts a changing configuration, alternating between rock intensity, melodic fragility and a more abrasive energy than on his recordings.
