Ravage Club

Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer around Claudia, alias Acidula, and Vincent, alias Vinz, Ravage Club first formed under another name before adopting in 2020 a French-language approach that is more direct, anchored in a nerve-wracking rock where punk, garage rock, grunge and indie rock intersect. The duo, formed at a very young age, initially played in English before refocusing its writing on French lyrics carried by a tension between raw energy and a literary vein. Ravage Club thus develops a dry, saturated and upfront sound, fed as much by British punk as by a more melodic sense of rock. A first EP, C’est l’Enfer, was released in 2022, followed by a self-titled EP, Ravage Club, in 2024. In their live journey, Ravage Club has played at events such as Rock en Seine and MaMA, and has also shared the bill with groups such as Les Wampas, Deportivo or Tagada Jones. The project has also crossed paths with Daran for artistic support and Rémy Boy for mixing, while Vincent Hernault, who had previously been with Lofofora, has been part of the band’s entourage on drums. Between punk rage, taut refrains and writing that is darker than demonstrative, Ravage Club sits within a French rock scene that puts the French language at the center without smoothing the impact of the sound.
