La Flemme

Born in Marseille, La Flemme brings together Stella Lopez, Charles Priem, Jules Massa and Ronie Marciano in a mixed quartet that sits in a rock vein nourished by grunge, punk and psychedelic accents. Formed between the local scene and the DIY culture, the band develops a direct, taut and melodic sound, carried by abrasive guitars, a front-facing rhythm section and a vocal line that plays on collective energy as much as on urgency. La Flemme sings in English and makes Anglo-Saxon influences heard without erasing its Marseille roots, in an approach that prioritizes the impact of the songs and concise writing. The first album, La Fête, released in 2024, laid the foundations for this aesthetic between garage rock, grunge saturation and nerve-wracking choruses. In 2025, La Flemme was recognized at the Inrocks Super Club competition, another milestone in the band's recent trajectory. Having gone through independent concert circuits and scenes dedicated to contemporary music, La Flemme belongs to a new generation of French bands reinvesting the guitar format with raw, unflinching energy.
