The project took shape in Paris, where Lane honed his approach through residencies at Silencio and Les Bains, within a context tied to the city’s nocturnal and electronic scenes. This Parisian base accompanied a move toward larger formats — festivals, opening slots and shared bills with artists such as Kavinsky and Boston Bun — as well as support dates for The Chainsmokers and Petit Biscuit. In his discography, Alastair Lane has released tracks on labels like Nervous Records, Anjunadeep and Lilly Era, releases that place his work within a modern, fluid, melodic and dancefloor‑oriented house. In 2025 the single “Roman d’Amour” marked a new step in visibility and helped broaden his audience beyond the French scene.
