Eskha
Based in Paris, Eskha, also known as Kevin Saumon, develops a DJ and production career built between bass music culture, underground techno, and French club scenes. His interest in mixing takes shape in the early 2010s, before a stint at the Dour festival in 2011 steers his trajectory more clearly toward techno. Eskha then turns to production from 2015 onward and refines a universe centered on acid techno, minimalist and direct, threaded with references to house, electro, old school and trance. This circulation between several aesthetics gives his sets a marked club color, designed for both enclosed spaces and the rougher contexts of warehouses. From 2018, Eskha appears on several stages in France, notably at the Lamano Festival, then in Parisian venues such as Cabaret Sauvage, La Rotonde, l’Aérosol and Glazart. His activity also leads him to Bordeaux, where he obtains a residency at Redgate Club, while joining the Parisian collective Primaire. Between Paris and the southwest, Eskha thus places his practice in a network of clubs, festivals and parties where contemporary techno, rave heritage and independent electronic culture intersect.
