REVEX

Based in Grenoble, REVEX began making music in adolescence, initially producing instrumentals for his circle and for rappers, before turning to electronic music from 2020, with a clear grounding in techno. His universe sits on the hard and frontal side of techno, fed by fast rhythms, punchy basslines, abrasive synths and acid lines, in an aesthetics that draws as much from hard techno as from more industrial or rave forms. REVEX gradually develops an identity centered on intensity and contrast, between tension, saturation and the pursuit of physical impact, without locking himself into a too strict genre frame. His productions circulate on platforms specializing in electronic music and testify to this willingness to cross several club codes in a direct and energetic format. REVEX thus sits within a generation of French producers who emerged around the turn of the 2020s, attentive to the fastest techno scenes and to hybrids between acid, hard dance and dark textures, an approach that is also found in his DJ sets.
