IOSIO

Based in Rotterdam, IOSIO develops a DJ/producer project rooted in a fast, direct club aesthetic at the intersection of bounce, groove, trance and a tense, nervous techno. IOSIO constructs sets and productions that rely on the physical impact of rhythm, with bold build-ups, taut melodic lines and a constant energy designed for the dancefloor. While bounce remains a central pillar of the approach, the sound is not limited to it and incorporates more trance-like and percussive elements in a straightforward, readable format. Emerging in the new wave of club artists who blur styles without losing intensity, IOSIO is part of a Dutch scene attentive to the crosscurrents between techno, rave and celebratory electronic music.
