Fantasm

Under the name Fantasm, Kenzo Meservey has been developing since the 2010s a project tied to the Australian electronic scene, focused on fast, tense hard techno where industrial textures, acid lines and reflexes inherited from trance and rave intersect. Fantasm crafts tracks for the club, with high tempos, repetitive sequences, marked breaks and a pursuit of immediate impact that places him at the meeting point between hard techno, acid techno and contemporary hard dance. His presence on the main specialized streaming and download platforms reflects a sustained trajectory in both production and DJing, with activity on stages dedicated to the most frontal forms of techno. Over time Fantasm has consolidated a more direct, denser aesthetic, conceived for the dancefloor rather than long narrative formats, and his work figures in the international rise of a faster, more abrasive techno increasingly linked to rave culture. Fantasm therefore remains identified with a functional, physical and no-nonsense register, driven by concise writing and continuous set energy.
