Kruelty

An anonymous project that emerged in the late 2010s within the European hard dance sphere, Kruelty develops a language situated between raw hardstyle, hardcore and industrial techno. Its sound is marked by very taut rhythms, abrasive kicks and a dark sonic imagery that draws as much from contemporary hardstyle codes as from industrial raves. Kruelty has gradually made a name through a series of singles and collaborations that circulated on hard scenes in clubs and festivals, including You Are Mine, Blow It Up with Vieze Asbak, Anarchy with Warface, Hit It Boy with Fantasm, Disgusting with Death Code and Heavy Metal with Riot Shift. This trajectory has led to appearances at events such as Defqon.1, Rebirth Festival, Decibel Outdoor, Intents Festival, as well as Teletech, Verknipt and Tegendraads, positioning Kruelty at the crossroads of hardstyle and hard techno. The Kruelty project rests on an intentionally understated identity focused on the sound rather than the artist’s image, and on a compact aesthetic where rhythmic brutality, metallic textures and tension-driven buildups form the guiding thread.
