LA ÉLITE

Formed in 2016 in Tàrrega, Catalonia, La Élite brings together David Burgués, aka Diosito, and Nil Roig, aka Yung Prado, in a Spanish duo that blends synthpunk, electropunk and post-punk. Their music rests on dry electronic rhythms, taut melodic lines and a frontal vocal delivery, with ironic and acidic lyrics that observe daily life, partying, social frustration and drifting characters. After a first EP, 12 Latas E.P. in 2016, and Sorry Not Sorry in 2019, La Élite refines a direct, abrasive and danceable formula, developed on Spanish independent stages. The duo then releases Nuevo punk in 2022, marking a more visible step in their journey, followed by Escaleras al cielo in 2024 and Directos al infierno the same year, two records that extend this nerve writing between punk urgency and electronic pulsation. La Élite sits within a Spanish scene where rock energy, club culture and DIY aesthetics intersect, while keeping a tight format and a deliberately raw approach.
