Parquesvr

Anchored in the Spanish independent scene, Parquesvr has been developing since the late 2010s an abrasive rock sound that leans as much toward punk as toward post-hardcore and noise rock. The band stands out through direct songwriting, spoken or half-sung, where Spanish-language lyrics depict urban everyday life, social drift and political tensions in a tone that is often raw and disenchanted. The tracks rely on dense guitars, taut rhythms and relatively straightforward structures, favouring impact and repetition over virtuosity. In 2019 Parquesvr released the album «Si molesto, os vais» on the independent label Raso, which captured in the studio the energy they had already built on stage and placed the band within a circuit of alternative clubs and festivals across Spain. Since that release Parquesvr has continued to play in the DIY network and small venues, remaining committed to a raw aesthetic, spare arrangements and a way of mixing social commentary, pop references and dark humour within the same repertoire.
