TJARK

Singer-songwriter TJARK, originally from Brandenburg, develops German-language pop infused with acoustic folk, centered on voice and songwriting. After a period in Hamburg, immersed in neighborhood culture and an intense concert life, TJARK chose to return to a village in his home region to have a quieter environment for composing. There, together with friends who are musicians, he crafted the songs for his debut album “auch wenn’s uns morgen nicht mehr gibt” (2024). The single “keinen namen” lays the foundation for an aesthetic of supple guitars, organic rhythms and introspective lyrics. TJARK’s music is conceived for band performance and recorded to preserve a live-take feeling and direct dynamics. Between pop, folk and songwriting, the songs explore the blurred areas of relationships, living in the present without projection, and the distinction between the private person and the artist TJARK. Active on festival stages and as a support act in Germany, the TJARK project continues to develop around a pared-back aesthetic that favors intimacy and personal storytelling.
