ENNIO
Born in Munich in 1999, Ennio Frankl initially developed an English-language project called Emotional Club, active from 2016 in an indie register with electronic touches. From 2021 onwards, ENNIO refocused his work on German-language lyrics and a more direct songwriting approach, where indie pop blends with sparser, sometimes acoustic arrangements and a deliberately rough vocal. This shift coincided with his emergence on the German-speaking scene with the track “Blaulicht,” released on the very day of his first tour dates as a support act for Provinz. ENNIO later supported Jeremias and Majan, appeared at several festivals and discovery platforms such as Waves Vienna and the Reeperbahn Festival, and launched his own tour in Germany and Austria at the end of 2022. His discography as ENNIO includes the album “Nirvana” (2022) and “Schlaraffenland” (2024), alongside several shorter releases. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists like Provinz, Berq and Nina Chuba, and releases his music on his own label, Orgel Enterprise.
