Dani Lia

Emerging from the German-language pop scene, Dani Lia has been building a German repertoire since the early 2020s that blends nostalgia, doubt and a spirit of new beginnings. Her music sits between indie pop and alt-pop, featuring direct songwriting, tightly wound melodies and contemporary productions that can remain subdued or become lighter and more danceable depending on the track. In 2022 she broadened her audience with “alles verloren,” a track widely shared on TikTok, then followed with singles such as “ich idiot.,” “halbes herz” and “glitzerstein,” which strike a balance between melancholic intimacy and more mobile pop. In April 2024 the EP “kratzer & wunden tape” gave clearer contours to her world, linking indie sensitivity with the current song format. Collaborations with Miksu/Macloud, Aaron, TJARK and BRUCKNER place her within a shifting pop network without diverting her from her personal approach. Dani Lia is thus shaping a trajectory connected to the German, Austrian and Swiss scenes, and her project is now also making its way onto the concert stage.
