Info
Paul Heaton brings his distinct brand of British songwriting to Glasgow on October 30, 2026, at OVO Hydro. From the early days of The Housemartins to the long, hit-packed run of The Beautiful South, he’s built a catalogue where clean melodies meet sharp observations of everyday life, relationships, and the little contradictions of modern Britain. Expect a set that moves easily between indie pop, pop rock and soulful touches, carried by Heaton’s warm, direct voice and a knack for choruses that stick without trying too hard.
In recent years he’s kept pushing forward, from his solo records to the well-loved duo releases with Jacqui Abbott, and his latest chapter with The Mighty Several. Live, those songs land with the same clarity: stories you can picture, humour that doesn’t shout, and tunes that feel instantly familiar even when you’re hearing them for the first time.
