If the show’s all about bright hooks and clean guitar lines, Blossoms have been refining that sweet spot since 2013. The Stockport band (Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan, Myles Kellock) sit somewhere between indie pop, synth-pop and a light new wave tint, with choruses built to stick without forcing it. From their self-titled debut to Cool Like You, Foolish Loving Spaces, Ribbon Around the Bomb and Gary, they’ve kept that knack for crisp melodies and keyboard-driven momentum, always with an eye on what works live. Blossoms play OVO Hydro in Glasgow on December 5, 2026.
Opening the night, The Royston Club bring a more urgent, guitar-forward indie rock energy. The Wrexham quartet (Ben Matthias, Tom Faithfull, Dave Tute, Sam Jones) lean into sharp riffs and straight-to-the-point songwriting, the kind that turns quickly into crowd choruses. With early buzz from Coasting and albums like Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars and Songs for the Spine, they’ve grown from DIY beginnings into a tight, stage-ready band that thrives on pace and punch.
