Info
On October 22, 2027 at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Texas hit the stage to celebrate 30 years of White on Blonde, the record that pushed their pop-rock into the UK spotlight. Built around Sharleen Spiteri’s unmistakable voice and the band’s knack for clean melodies and guitar-driven grooves, the show revisits that era while making room for the songs that have followed since their early breakthrough. Expect a set that leans into the emotional pull and tight songwriting that made Texas a live staple.
Also on the bill, fellow Glaswegians Del Amitri bring their sharp, bittersweet take on rock songwriting. Led by Justin Currie, their sound balances chiming guitars, direct hooks and world-weary lyrics that have marked albums from Waking Hours to Fatal Mistakes. It’s a hometown double header with two distinct voices from the same city.
