Julien Clerc is back on stage for a new concert tour, to be held on April 1, 2027 at the Salle Polyvalente de Bourgoin-Jallieu. More than fifty years after his debut, his voice and his piano continue to carve a clear line in French song, between hushed pop and grand variété, with a melodic sense that captures from the very first bars.
Revealed in the late 1960s with La Cavalerie, he went on to release titles that became touchstones for several generations: Ce n’est rien, Si on chantait, Ma préférence, Mélissa, Femmes, je vous aime, and Fais-moi une place. His repertoire, crafted over the years with leading lyricists, speaks of love, the passing of time, and daily life, without unnecessary effects, carried by precise delivery and restrained emotion.
On stage, Julien Clerc alternates intimate ballads with more expansive arrangements, with a simple, direct presence, and a fondness for the chorus that you hum as you leave. A date to see an artist who knows how to bring his songs to life, without forced nostalgia.
