Info
On May 10, 2027, Hootie & The Blowfish bring their easy-going, guitar-led American rock to O2 Academy Glasgow, with that mix of pop rock, rootsy Southern tones and college-rock energy that’s followed them since the late ’80s. Led by Darius Rucker’s instantly recognizable deep voice, the band leans into bright riffs, clean grooves and big, melodic choruses built for singing along without any fuss.
Formed in Columbia, South Carolina, Hootie & The Blowfish broke through in the mid-’90s with the straightforward songwriting and sunny drive of Cracked Rear View, then kept shaping their sound across the years before returning to steady touring in recent times. Expect a set that moves between classic crowd-pleasers and later material, always with the same direct, warm band chemistry from Mark Bryan, Dean Felber and Jim Sonefeld holding it together.
