Info
On March 23, 2027, Blanco White arrives at the Teatro Eslava in Madrid with his UK & Europe 2027 tour, a good opportunity to see up close the solo project of Josh Edwards. From London, but with a history written through travel and learning, his music moves between folk and a restrained pop, with a neofolk edge that is more noticeable in the details than in the direct punch.
Live, that mix that defines him sounds: sober and melodic songs, sung in English, where the acoustic guitar crosses with flamenco nods and Latin American colors. Part of that identity comes from his time studying flamenco guitar in Cádiz and from his discovery of the charango and Andean music in Bolivia, elements that creep into his playing style and the internal rhythm of the tracks.
The repertoire draws from his EPs that helped mark the path and from albums like On the Other Side and Tarifa, maintaining that balance between intimacy and more expansive arrangements, without losing the pulse from song to song.
