Info
On May 2, 2027, Steve Hackett makes a stop at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa with his Best of Genesis & Solo Gems Tour. A major figure in British progressive rock, the former Genesis guitarist comes to celebrate both the chapters that marked his time with the band in the early 1970s and the flagship tracks of his solo career.
On stage, Hackett delivers this blend that is his hallmark: precise electric runs, subtler acoustic textures, classical touches, and accents from elsewhere. An opportunity to dive back into the world of grand progressive suites and carefully crafted arrangements, without fixed nostalgia: his reworkings have a living quality, carried by a highly narrative guitar style and a lineup seasoned in these musical architectures. A show for those who love long compositions, dynamic shifts, and the richness of textures.
