Info
Dinosaur Pile-Up roll into Cardiff on April 14, 2027, for a show at Tramshed Cardiff that’s all about direct, melodic alternative rock with no detours. The Leeds trio have been shaping their sound since 2007, mixing grunge bite, post-grunge crunch and pop-punk energy into big guitars and choruses that stick, without sanding off the rough edges.
Led by Matt Bigland alongside drummer Mike Sheils and bassist Jim Cratchley, they’ve built a tight, punchy live reputation across the UK, Europe and the US, sharing stages with bands like Pixies, Feeder and Cage the Elephant. Expect a set that pulls from the arc of their records, from the early, compact drive of Growing Pains through the sharper balance of Eleven Eleven and Celebrity Mansions, up to the more recent I’ve Felt Better. Guests will warm things up, but the main draw is that blunt, hooky wall of sound Dinosaur Pile-Up do so well.
