Info
DJ Servidor
Born in the southern part of his native Peru, in the early 2000s he discovers his love for selectah culture on pirate cassettes (K7) and pirate CDs: Latin rap, Afro-Peruvian music, early reggaetón, salsa and big beat. He discovers sound system culture and bass music in the excitement of Lima’s underground scene before immigrating to Seine-Saint-Denis in 2011. Based in Montreuil since 2020, his sets are often an emotive blend between hardcore and IDM, reflective samples, the punchy force of Latin American music and the breadth of bass frequencies.
Scarlett
DJ, producer, composer and member of the media, collective and label Couvre x Chefs (CxC), her sets are imbued with vitality and explosiveness. Having worked with Rosa Pistola, Lila Tirando a Violeta, O.L.I.V.I.A. and DJ Babatr, she has also been remixed by the latter, as well as Javier Estrada, IMAABS or Pura Pura. Her practice offers a broad vision of what is called contemporary club music: hyperpop, reggaetón, tribal pre-Hispanic, Latin post-club and all that flows from her explorations and sonic experiments.
DNGDNGDNG
Peruvian duo of producers and DJs formed in Lima in 2010 by Makumba and ZUFU and based in Berlin for the past ten years, they have released albums and EPs on labels such as NAAFI, Enchufada, tratratrax and Club Romántico. Their music is a constant tension between exploring Afro-Caribbean and Latin American vernacular traditions and the various angles of bass music and sound system culture.
