Info
On December 13, 2026, Beoga bring their turbo-charged take on Irish traditional music to The Workman’s Club in Dublin. Formed in 2002 and shaped as a tight ensemble, the band keeps the core of the repertoire front and center while pushing the arrangements into something sharper and more contemporary.
Expect jigs, reels and airs driven by Damian McKee’s accordion and Eamon Murray’s bodhrán, with Liam Bradley’s piano and Seán Óg Graham’s strings locking everything into a rhythmic, precise sound. Since singer and fiddler Niamh Dunne joined in 2005, Beoga’s set has also made room for a more song-led energy, without losing the snap and lift that make trad feel alive onstage.
Across albums from A Lovely Madness to Phases, they’ve expanded their palette, letting folk lines brush up against pop instincts while staying grounded in Irish tunes. In Dublin, it’s the kind of show where the playing is as meticulous as it is physical, made for crowded rooms and quick feet.
