Info
Will Young brings his pop-soul craft to Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea on March 7, 2027, for a show that draws on two decades of sleek British songwriting and careful interpretation. First known to a wide audience in the early 2000s, he’s built a catalogue where adult pop melodies meet subtle electronic touches, shifting easily between warm, dance-friendly grooves and quieter, more stripped-back moods.
On stage, expect a set that moves through the different chapters of his sound: early hits with that flexible, instantly recognisable voice, then the more contemporary, synthetic edge he leaned into on albums like Echoes, right up to the recent Light It Up era. Will Young has always treated songs as something to inhabit rather than just perform, and this date is a chance to hear that approach up close: clean lines, emotional control, and arrangements that give pop room to breathe.
