Info
Mike & The Mechanics come to the Metropol Theater Bremen on May 17, 2027 with the 'Back on Track! 2027 Tour'. The project was founded in 1985 by Mike Rutherford during a Genesis hiatus and remains to this day a representative of pop-rock and soft rock with a clearly identifiable songwriter's hand: catchy refrains, clean arrangements, a sound somewhere between British rock, adult pop, and a touch of soul.
In concert, much of the focus revolves around the classics that made the band famous in the late 1980s and the 1990s: 'Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)', 'All I Need Is a Miracle', or 'The Living Years' are among the songs that can define the set, carried by strong lead vocals and the interplay of different vocal timbres. In addition, material from later phases has been added since Rutherford brought the band back on stage in 2010 with a new lineup. An evening of concerts that brings together hits and band history, without turning into a nostalgia act.
