Charles Pasi arrives at Train Théâtre in Portes-lès-Valence on November 12, 2026 with what he does best: a vivid blend of blues, soul, jazz, folk and pop, guided by a slightly husky voice and a harmonica that drives the show. On stage, his performance rests as much on groove as on songwriting, with that knack for moving from an intimate mood to a more electric tension without overdoing it. Revealed by his very bluesy early work (Mainly Blue), he later broadened the frame with Uncaged, where Archie Shepp even appears, before pushing the sound toward something more direct on Bricks and then more instinctive on Zebra. This concert promises to be a journey through these different colors: modern blues, supple soul, touches of funk and rock, all carried by a real band energy and a storytelling sensibility that plays out as much in the songs as in the improvisation.
