On October 3, 2026, Jhariah brings his shape-shifting solo universe to The Asylum in Birmingham. Since first surfacing online in 2017, Brooklyn-based musician and visual artist Jhariah Clare has been writing songs like short films: fast cuts, hard left turns, and big hooks that land when you least expect them. His recent work leans into that genre-blind instinct, snapping from dance-punk to emo, prog and hardcore, then sliding into pop melodies, hip-hop rhythms and Latin-inspired pulse without ever sounding like a collage.
Centered around TRUST CEREMONY, the set taps into the record’s coming-of-age tension: self-doubt, family friction, the weight of a Catholic upbringing, and the stubborn need to keep making things anyway. Expect tight guitars, theatrical flashes, electronic touches and choruses built to be shouted back, all tied together by a strong sense of narrative and a DIY urgency that feels made for the stage.
