Info
Bonobo, alias Simon Green, brings his Distance In Static North American Tour to Montréal at MTELUS on November 28, 2026. Known for a sound that sits between downtempo, trip-hop, nu-jazz and warmer acoustic touches, the British producer has spent years shaping electronic music that’s as much about groove as it is about detail.
Onstage, his tracks open up: supple rhythms, muted basslines, and those careful layers of strings and brass that made albums like Black Sands and The North Borders so distinctive. With later records such as Migration and Fragments, he pushed toward a broader palette, built to hit both in headphones and in a room full of people moving. Expect a set that flows, shifts, and leaves space for melody as much as for momentum.
