On 10 October 2026, Sean Koch will perform in Leipzig as part of 'Time Will Tell Europe 2026', at Naumanns Gaststube. The songwriter from South Africa brings a folk- and indie-influenced set that is strongly shaped by the coast around Kommetjie near Cape Town: an acoustic guitar in the foreground, along with restrained percussion and multi-part vocal harmonies that tend to carry rather than push. In concert, Koch moves between an intimate solo performance and a sound that also works with a small band. His songs tell of being on the road between sea and city, of nature, relationships, and a mind that never quite stays still on the road. For those who already know him from 'Natural Projection' or the album 'Your Mind Is A Picture,' Leipzig promises an evening that feels intimate, yet leaves ample room for hints of psychedelia and warm pop moments.
