On May 8, 2027, Valley will perform at The Milky Way in Amsterdam with their smoothly flowing indie pop that leans as much on guitars as on subtle synths. The quartet from Toronto (Rob Laska, Michael 'Mickey' Brandolino, Alex Dimauro, and Karah James) builds songs around bright melodies, tight rhythms, and choruses that stick right away, without losing their band energy. Live, Valley focuses on harmonies and vocal details: Laska's and James's voices weave in and out as the band lays down a lightly glossy pop-rock foundation with that early-2000s vibe. Expect songs that feel intimate, about friendship, the search for a foothold in early adulthood, and the awkward in-between spaces of relationships. An evening for those who like to sway and sing along, but also want it to feel a little real.
