Info
On December 11, 2026, at La Cordo in Romans-sur-Isère, Daoud will take the stage to present his unfettered jazz—tense and delicate at once. A Franco-Moroccan trumpeter, composer and producer, he advances with music nourished by tension: chaos that can calm down in an instant, lyrical lines that brush against rougher ruptures, and this blend of irony and sincerity that renders each piece unstable, alive.
At the heart of the concert, one will encounter the spirit of ok (2025, ACT), an intimate record built on the idea of fall, repetition, and obstinacy, as if each theme sought its exit without renouncing its glitches. Accompanied by his band, Daoud does not follow the rules: he tests them, folds them, moving from an almost fragile restraint to sudden bursts, with a freedom that leaves as much room for silences as for controlled slips.
