Tommy Four Seven [47] Berlin
The British artist Tommy Four Seven has been a respected figure on the international techno scene for two decades. Pushed to the forefront of the world stage, he has remained a highly sought-after selector and producer, renowned for his ability to captivate the dancefloor with a rich and rhythmic sonic palette.
As talented in the studio as behind the decks, Tommy has built an extensive discography alongside his international DJ career. In 2023, his solo EP 47039 further established his technical, precise, and nuanced palette, with a collection that marries driving techno with adventurous fractured rhythms.
Tommy is the founder of the label 47, known for originating some of the most innovative techno productions of the moment. Over the past three years, 47 has highlighted emerging talents such as Quelza, Tauceti or VSK, embodying the elegant and sophisticated aesthetic found in Tommy's sets and productions. More than a label, 47 is also an event platform that carries Tommy's musical vision around the world through a carefully curated series of live events.
Tommy continues to refine his musical selection.
Tauceti [Non Series / Vaerel Rec / 47] FR
Tauceti, resident at Le Sucre in Lyon and at Rex in Paris, has established herself in recent years as one of the figures of this new generation of techno artists. Initially as a DJ, where she presents in her sets a dark, tropical, sensual techno with percussive and vaporous rhythms. These lend an elegance and a maturity that make their listening experience unique.
It is then as a producer that she gains recognition, through collaborations and EPs, the latest of which appeared on the 30D Records label in 2022. Through this exploration of sounds, she traverses different registers, oscillating between ambient and techno, between strange dreaminess and raw realism, between bright flashes and heavy textures.
