Info

A deft blend of folk, pop, blues, and rock, a rootsy sound that has captivated major names in rock and pop. ZZ Top has asked her to open for them four times, as well as -M-, Ringo Starr at the Olympia, John Fogerty at the Zénith in Paris, Beth Hart, Jonny Lang, UB40, Zucchero (five dates), Deep Purple, and a fourteen-venue solo tour as an opening act for The Dire Straits Experience.

With an engaged voice and sharp guitars, a gentle, perceptive softness and a restrained fury, concerts full of verve, Gaëlle Buswel has managed to carve out her place in the blues-rock world. An independent career since 2011. A generous personality, with an unflinching, straightforward nature. One of those people you want to follow far afield when she tells her stories through music. At the start of her career in 2011, Gaëlle was compared to Joan Baez, because she performed in detention centers, children’s hospitals, in the subway, and she crisscrossed all the cafés-concerts of France and England with her guitar. An artist who built herself up, who, starting from nothing, found herself playing with big names.
