Fred Pallem is presenting a tightened format of the Sacre du Tympan repertoire, tracing the ensemble’s origins through to its hot, current relevance at Café de la Danse. Six performers will embark on a condensed, nerve-wracking, cinematic version of Sacre du Tympan’s sprawling universe.
For this occasion, the frescoes give way to close-ups, the orchestrations are reinvented, but the imagination remains intact.
