Info
On November 27, 2026, Barenaked Ladies descend on L'Olympia in Montreal for a concert that places at the center what has defined their mark since the late 1980s: alternative rock and pop infused with folk, lyrics that are very wordy, a driving sense of rhythm, and, above all, vocal harmonies that carry the song.
Born in Scarborough, a suburb of Toronto, the band first drew attention with independent releases before establishing itself in Canada with Gordon (1992), then following with Maybe You Should Drive, Born on a Pirate Ship, and the live album Rock Spectacle. The late 1990s opened them to a broader audience with Stunt, followed by Maroon, and a discography that continues to release albums and tour through Detour de Force (2021). After Steven Page's departure in 2009, Barenaked Ladies continued as a quartet, preserving that direct way of storytelling, the humor, and the ability to make a venue sing along without forcing it.
