Born on the Minneapolis indie scene, the band likes to work with textures: saturated layers, airy melodies, and that way of letting emotion pass through without overdoing it. Their idea of 'moss music' sums it up nicely: an organic, somewhat dreamlike imaginary world, fed as much by vaporous pop as by rougher impulses. After the Wisteria EP and its catchy tracks, and Chrysalis, she’s green broadens the palette without losing the sense of concision, alternating bursts of noise and melodic clearings.
