Rizzle Kicks

Rizzle Kicks are back on 18 November 2026 at O2 Academy Bournemouth. Born in Brighton, Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule built their lane between UK hip-hop, pop-rap and flashes of garage, switching easily from rap verses to melodic choruses. Early demos and online videos took them from the AudioActive scene and the BRIT School to a deal with Island, then to a first wave of singles and Stereo Typical (2011), a debut that set their direct, pop-aware sound. Roaring 20s (2013) followed, opening the production up with soul and funk shades and extending their live footprint across festivals and UK tours.

The duo paused in the mid-2010s for solo projects before reconnecting in 2024, a return that led to their third album, Competition Is for Losers (2025). On stage, they trade lines with an easy back-and-forth, stack hooky refrains and ride grooves that nod to hip-hop, brass-tinged soul and garage. Along the way they’ve crossed paths with Norman Cook, Olly Murs and Ed Sheeran, but this date in Bournemouth puts the original Rizzle Kicks energy back at the centre.
