Haken

London progressive rock/metal outfit Haken plays SIMM City in Vienna on 1 October 2026. Formed in 2007 around guitarist-composer Richard Henshall and singer Ross Jennings, the band has shaped a language where long-form structures, shifting meters and melodic vocals meet dense, synth-forward textures. Early releases Aquarius (2010) and Visions (2011) set the tone for narrative writing and tight instrumental interplay; The Mountain (2013) refined the balance between rhythmic intricacy, direct refrains and atmospheric breaks. The thread continued with Restoration (2014), Affinity (2016), Vector (2018), Virus (2020) and Fauna (2023), each pushing that blend while keeping the song at the center.

On stage, Haken play with a focus on precision and dynamics.
