Castle Rat brings the Summon The Beasts Tour 2026 to The Opera House in Toronto on October 17, 2026. Formed in Brooklyn, the band merges the weight of traditional doom with the drive of classic heavy metal, all wrapped in a medieval-fantasy world that guides both the music and the staging. Expect slow, heavy riffs, sudden accelerations and a touch of psychedelia, carried by melodic vocals that unfold tales of quests, occult cults and witchcraft. On stage, recurring characters — warrior queens, mages, masked figures — give the show a theatrical edge, with narrative threads supported by costumes and a sense of ritual. After early digital releases and studio sessions circulating on the US independent metal circuit, the group cemented its approach with Into the Realm in 2024, a body of songs that anchors this tour.
Opening the night, Wraith Knight — the dungeon synth project of producer Nick Superchi — sets an atmospheric, electronic backdrop that eases the room into Castle Rat’s world.
