Demented Are Go play on 30 January 2027 at 18h00 at Lido, Berlin. Since psychobilly emerged, Demented Are Go, from Cardiff, have been an underground act in Europe. Demented Are Go, the brainchild of Welsh cousins Spark Retard and Ant the Mule Thomas, have achieved top ten indie chart success and built up a cult following with a postmodern mixture of styles that plays with the darker side of rock'n'roll. After nearly 30 years of touring across Europe, Japan and the USA, the band has refined its line-up. After breaking free from the restrictions of the psychobilly pigeonhole, Demented Are Go have pushed the genre toward a more raw and uncompromising edge. The music is raw and abrasive, the sonic equivalent of a 1970s splatter movie. From 1950s grindhouse rock'n'roll love songs through to acid-soaked 1960s garage and drag-punk, all with a stand-up bass.
