Demented Are Go are one of the founding bands of the psychobilly scene, formed in the early ’80s in Cardiff around the inimitable frontman Sparky. With their abrasive mix of supercharged rockabilly, unleashed punk and B-movie horror imagery, they quickly established a dirty, urgent and visceral sound that became a genre benchmark. The band made a lasting impression with early records like In Sickness & in Health and Kicked Out of Hell, which remain absolute classics for psychobilly enthusiasts.
