On December 11, 2026 at the Théâtre de Thionville, Imany returns with that deep, husky timbre that is her signature and a repertoire at the crossroads of soul, folk and acoustic pop. After starting out on small New York stages, she made her mark with The Shape of a Broken Heart and The Wrong Kind of War, two records that establish a stripped-down world where the voice leads the way. On stage she favors austerity: guitar, strings, measured beats, and songs in English that move on a deeply soulful plane. She has also explored reinterpretations with Voodoo Cello, a project in which her voice engages in dialogue with an ensemble of cellos, extending her taste for intimate formats and pop reworked in a soulful vein. Between restrained ballads and hushed rhythms, Imany unfolds lyrics about ruptures, endurance and emancipation, always close to the pulse. The set is carried by the precision of the singing and arrangements that leave space for the words.
