Hermanos Gutierrez

Hermanos Gutierrez is the open-sky dialogue of brothers Alejandro and Estevan, two Swiss guitarists of Ecuadorian descent who have been shaping a distinctive instrumental language for years. On 26 November 2026 at La Sirène in La Rochelle, they present Sonido Cósmico, a new chapter that stretches their desert-rooted art toward broader horizons, between generous reverb, restrained tempos and melodic lines that answer each other like mirages.

On stage there is no singing or showmanship, but a conversation of guitars that conjures images. Twilight westerns, Latin American echoes, slow-motion surf and hints of Americana mingle in a precise interplay where every silence matters. The duo unfolds themes that transform through small variations, multiplying textures and counter-melodies until they create the sensation of a continuous journey.

Sonido Cósmico, produced with Dan Auerbach, continues the trajectory begun with El Bueno y El Malo and opens a more cosmic spectrum without abandoning the soulful warmth that is their signature. In concert, this material swells: the two brothers sketch soundscapes that advance in waves, between subtle pulses and percussive accents on the strings, for an immersive and direct instrumental experience.
