Info
Fickle Friends land at The Wardrobe in Leeds on 2 October 2026. Formed in Brighton in 2013, the band first built its name on stage before dropping early singles like Swim, Play and For You. Fronted by singer-keyboardist Natassja Shiner, the quartet moves between indie pop and synth-pop with a touch of indie rock, trading glossy keys, tight rhythms and clean guitar lines. After the Velvet (2015) and Glue (2017) EPs, they released debut album You Are Someone Else in 2018, recorded in Los Angeles with Mike Crossey, then rolled out the two-part Weird Years in 2021 and the more direct Are We Gonna Be Alright? in 2022. Now a four-piece following Christopher Hall’s departure, Fickle Friends returned in 2025 with a self-titled third album and a run of standalone tracks, including a rework of The Aces’ Kelly. In Leeds, they pull from across that catalogue while giving space to the new record, keeping their melodic streak and live-driven energy at the core.
