Jack Botts

Australian singer-songwriter Jack Botts brings his surf-shaped folk to The Starlite Room in Edmonton on June 25, 2026. Raised on the east coast of Australia, he writes acoustic songs with indie pop shades, a sound built on open guitar work, soft vocals and melodies that travel light. His lyrics trace the road, the pull of the ocean, relationships and the shifts that come with moving from place to place. After a run of intimate shows through the late 2010s, he stretched his touring from Australia to Europe and North America, keeping a close, down-to-earth connection with the audience along the way. Several EPs paved the path to Sucker For Sunsets in 2023, an album that gathers his coastal stories and easy-flowing hooks. On stage, Botts plays solo or with a tight band, keeping arrangements lean while giving the songs more room to breathe.
