About:
Anatole Muster explores new possibilities for the accordion and brings the instrument to a wider audience. At his live shows he plays button accordion, a laptop keyboard, and a MIDI-controlled breathalyzer synth he co-developed with engineer Elio Fistarol.
He collaborates with Kiefer, Louis Cole, Tennyson, and Matthew Field (Beatenberg, M Field), and with bassists Hadrien Feraud and Federico Heliodoro. His albums include Wonderful Now (2024) and hopecore (2025), which draws on hyperpop, 80s jazz fusion, Midwest emo, plugg, and Brazilian jazz.
He graduated in summer 2025 with a first-class honours degree from the jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
