Info
Skating Polly
Formed when stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse were just 9 and 14, Oklahoma's Skating Polly have spent over a decade channelling chameleonic musicality into what they call "ugly pop"—unruly, subversive, and melodic. With Kelli's brother Kurtis on drums completing the trio. Noted for their alternating instruments, poetic lyrics, and a setlist that shifts from riot grrrl to grunge to piano-driven indie pop.
This is their fifth visit to Liverpool.
Lord Friday the 13th
Lord Friday the 13th are a self-described dollar store trash-glam-punk band based in Los Angeles, fronted by siblings Felix and Sloane Lenz. Their sound has been likened to the Velvet Underground meeting the New York Dolls, with early Iggy and the Stooges. They supported Skating Polly on summer runs in 2023 and 2024.
They challenge gender roles and honour the spirit of punk's origins. Their debut album is in the works after a run of EPs.
