Weatherday plays The Bodega, Nottingham, on 23 May 2026. Born online in the DIY sphere, the Swedish solo project from Lola (also active as Sputnik) folds lo-fi, emo and shoegaze into bedroom-rooted indie rock. The tracks are long and changeable: layered guitars, saturated textures, jagged drums and filtered vocals; fragile motifs collide with noisier passages and loop back through abrupt transitions.
First shared in the late 2010s, the project took shape with the self-produced album Come In (2019). In 2022, Weatherglow, a collaboration with Asian Glow, widened the palette toward a denser, almost post-rock terrain. On stage, Weatherday keeps the non-linear writing and embraces sonic imperfections, letting textures and dynamics lead rather than verse-chorus routines.
Special guests Made You Look / Made You Stare and Super Mega Death Robot complete the bill.
